We are pleased to announce that Europalmente is currently engaged in KA210 – Institutional Strengthening in Disaster Risk Reduction with Green Disaster Systems, an international project aimed at strengthening institutional capacities in disaster risk reduction through sustainable approaches and environmentally friendly solutions.

This initiative represents a significant step forward for our association, marking the beginning of a structured commitment at the European level on issues of major global relevance. The project seeks to support organizations operating in the field of disaster management in adopting environmentally sustainable practices, while promoting international cooperation, the exchange of best practices, and the development of training tools and dedicated guidelines for green disaster management.

The Kick-off Meeting will take place in Sakarya, Turkey, from April 1st to April 4th, 2026, and will involve the participation of the project partners:

During this initial meeting, partners will work on planning project activities, defining cooperation strategies, and launching the first actions aimed at integrating innovative technologies and sustainable approaches into disaster risk management.

Europalmente’s delegates will be present in Turkey to represent the association and actively contribute to the development of the project activities.
