We are a cultural youth organization specializing in education and international mobility

EUROPALMENTE association is a nonprofit organization of social promotion based in Rome (RM), active in the program Erasmus +.

It provides opportunities for international mobility and intercultural learning for young people. Our association has developed a dense and extensive network of partners around the world and is today recognized as one of the most active in the whole of South-Italy within the European youth mobility.

The main activities of the Association EUROPALMENTE are linked with Erasmus +, created by the European Commission, which aims to promote opportunities for mobility and to improve the skills of young people and organizations. The main projects of our association are European exchanges and training courses: This is the most public program in Italy that offers opportunities to learn through projects of international mobility at very low cost and accessible to all young people without discrimination or prerequisites to access.

EUROPALMENTE youth is a cultural, non-partisan and non-political, non-profit organization established in 2018. And specializes in particular in the areas of education and youth international mobility.

It works primarily on the provincial level and in particular in the region of Lazio and the Municipality of Rome, however it also spreads information and involves young people at national and international level. Most activities are carried out abroad.

 

The association's mission is the education of young people through non-formal education. The non-formal education activities take place on a voluntary basis and are carefully designed to promote the personal and social development of the participants.

To achieve its aims, the EUROPALMENTE Association organizes the following activities:

v  Cultural activities: meetings, meetings, and events

v  Educational activities: thematic educational workshops for young people

v  Intercultural activities and international mobility projects of sending and reception at the international level, working mainly with the Youth in Action Program of the European Commission:

Ø  intercultural youth exchanges: projects bringing together groups of young people from two or more countries, providing them with the opportunity to discuss and exchange views on various issues and at the same time gain knowledge about other countries and cultures. A Youth Exchange is based on a transnational partnership between two or more representatives from different countries.

Ø  Seminars and training courses: exchange of experiences, expertise and practice, including those that deal with young people and youth organizations, as well as activities which may lead to the realization of projects, partnerships and sustainable networks.

Ø  European Volunteer Service: projects that allow young people to carry out volunteer service for up to 12 months in a country other than that of their residence. It fosters solidarity among young people and is a true learning service. In fact, in addition to work in favor of local communities, volunteers learn new skills and languages while coming into contact with new cultures.

v  Informative activities: sharing of information through newsletters.

v  Coaching: support and encouragement to the youth events organized by both local youth associations  and informal youth groups.
